There are times that I just make my Mommy so proud.
For about the last month I have been carrying this little baby Jesus around. It belongs to a little nativity scene that was set up in my room at Christmas. I won't let Mom put my nativity away though, because I love it so much. Anyway...I carry this baby Jesus around off and on all day. If I misplace it I go crazy and drive Mommy crazy looking for it. Mommy (and Daddy too) and I talk about Jesus off and on and I understand some things. Mommy said today that maybe I understand more than she thought though. Today we were in the play room playing. Bryce had just gotten off of his spring horse and I was getting ready for a turn. Mom had told Bryce that he was going to town on that horse. Then when I got on the horse Mom said that Baby Jesus and I were going to town too (I was holding Baby Jesus while I was on the horse). I quickly replied to her with this answer, "Mom!! We aren't going to town, Jesus died on the cross". Needless to say I think that I shocked Mom with that answer.

Show-n-Tell
Today was show-n-tell day at school. The only problem with show-n-tell today was that I couldn't take what I wanted to take. We had to take something that was either Orange or Oval. Can you tell we learned about the letter O this week? So, I took my Orange My Little Pony. Now, I really like my My Little Pony, but that was not my favorite friend of the week. Last Saturday I found this little black bear in my stuffed animal basket in my room. Now, I've had this little bear since I was one and I've never really played with it much. However, I haven't set this bear down since I found it on Saturday. Now, I was really upset that I couldn't take it to school, so I asked Mom if I could take both of them to school. Mommy said that I could as long as my bear went into my backpack when I got to my classroom. Sometimes I take friends in my backpack to school (my teacher--Mrs. Batson lets me get my friends out of my backpack if we have playtime). So, I told mom that I would put Ted (my little black bear) in my backpack. Little did she know that I was going to pull both of them out at show-n-tell, which is just what I did. I told Mom after school that I did. Mommy wasn't too happy, but she said that it was okay as long as my teachers didn't care.

Monster Truck Show
I got to go to a Monster Truck show tonight. I was not real sure about it all before we left, but once I got there I was fine. The men (that means my Daddy) from Dad and Mom's small group bible study were taking the kids tonight, so that meant Mommy got to stay home alone. Well, she wasn't really alone, because Bryce stayed home with her. Okay, back to the truck show.....they were so loud. I got to watch the big trucks smash cars, eat popcorn, and have a snow cone. So, it was a good night. Oh by the way, Elijah went with us also and then he spent the night with me. We didn't get home from the Truck show until about 11:00, so when we got home we had to get ready for bed. Elijah and I slept in our sleeping bags on my bedroom floor. I had a good night and I'm glad that I decided to go and not stay home with Mom and Bryce.

The Monster Trucks are Coming!
I found out today that Daddy was going to be taking me to a Monster Truck show on Friday. It sounded fun at first, but then I wasn't really sure about it after a while. So, tonight it took me forever to go to sleep, probably about 2 hours (which is very unlike me). I kept calling for Mom or Dad to come into my room. I kept telling them, "I can't go to sleep because I can't stop thinking about those big trucks smashing those cars". Mommy finally told me not to worry about the truck show and just go to sleep. Mommy said if I didn't want to go then I didn't have to go and I could stay home with her. Dad and Mom also told me that the cars that the trucks smash are old cars that no one drives anymore and that there aren't any people inside the cars. So...I guess we will see what tomorrow brings, but I think I will probably go to see the big trucks.

Necklace Day..
Today at school we had Necklace and Necktie day. Can you tell it is N week? Of course, I wore my princess necklace. I have so many necklaces that it took me a while to decide on a necklace. However, since I was wearing my Princess shirt today, I decided I would wear my matching Princess necklace (it only made since).
This next subject is one that some people might want to bypass, but I'm writing it anyway, because it is part of my life. Over the last several weeks my bottom has been really sore. I would cry because everything down there hurt and itched. I would cry sometimes. One day I asked Mommy to put lotion on me like she puts on Bryce sometimes. So, Mommy put A&D Ointment on me and it made things better. Well, I would be fine for a few days and then I would hurt again. It was just a cycle, so Mommy finally decided last night that she has had enough. Together Mommy and Daddy decided that I have something called a yeast infection. Mom called the doctor this morning and talked to Nurse Cris and she thought it sounded the same also. So Cris called a prescription into the pharmacy for me and she said it should be a lot better in a couple of days. We are hoping this takes care of things for good, but I guess we will see.

Making Cookies...
Mom had to make some cookies today. That means that I got to make cookies too. I love helping Mom cook, especially baking cookies. We had to make two different kinds (that is unusual, because usually we just have one kind at a time). Theses cookies are for Daddy to take to youth group at church tomorrow night. Mom knew we wouldn't have time to bake them after church tomorrow, so we did it this afternoon instead. The best part about making cookies today was that I got to use my own cooking supplies. For Christmas I got my own pan and spatula. They are kid sized and they work really well. I was excited!! I put on my pot holder mits and put the pan in the oven. I waited for the timer to go off and then I put my mits back on and took my cookies out of the oven. Then I used my little spatula and got my own cookies off of my own pan. It was definetly exciting!!!

It's Christmas again...
Just when I think Christmas is over, more presents arrive. Emily and Ethan came to visit today and they brought my Christmas present to me. We had not had a chance to get together before Christmas, so this was the first chance. Guess what I got?? Got Milk?? That's right---"Got Milk??". Okay, I got a new game from Ethan called, "Got Milk???". I had to play it several times tonight and I love it. It is sort of like a matching game, but it has some twists. Thanks again Ethan and Emily!

- A Cookbook for Kids
- A Castle Tent
- A Princess Chair
- Princess Sheets
- A Singing Sleepying Beauty Doll
- A Karaoke Machine
- Trace and Draw (it puts a picture on your paper and then you trace it)
