I'm Feeling Good and trying to help Mom and Dad!

I'm feeling pretty good, but Mom and Dad aren't feeling so good today..(you can read about them in the family journal). So far Brycie is holding in there and hasn't gotten the flu from us yet. We are hoping there is some miracle and he doesn't get it, but I guess only time will tell.

We are just going to take it easy around the house today. I'm sure that Bryce and I will play, while Dad and Mom try to rest some.

I'm feeling better....

I felt pretty good when I got up this morning. I was just really hungry and really thirsty. Mom made me some Pedialyte to drink and she let me have some yogurt. Of course...then the fun started again (my diarrhea came back). It wasn't nearly as bad as yesterday though, so that was good. By late morning I decided I would try to eat again. I drank a glass of Pedialyte and ate some crackers. It was all staying in pretty good. By about 1:00 I was starving, so Mom warmed me up some leftover chicken and noodles. I ate some and decided I was full. I decided that I would take a little nap. My nap must have been what I needed, because I slept for 2 hours and then I haven't had any problems since. My appetite still isn't real good, but getting better.

Whenever I woke up from my nap, I learned that I had now given Mommy the flu. At about 3:00 Mommy started throwing up and having diarrhea. Its No Fun, No Fun at All!!! Luckily Dad got home from work at about 4:00 today. The bad news is that at about 5:30 Daddy came down with the flu too.

This is NO FUN!

Guess what is back...my sickness. I haven't thrown up, but now I have diarrhea. Mom was rocking Bryce in the rocking chair this afternoon about 1:00. I was in the playroom playing with the train table. I came into the living room and decided to sit down for a few minutes with Cassie in the chair. I sat there a minute and I looked at Mom and said, "Mommy, my panties and dress are wet. Its like I went potty in them, but I didn't". So, Mommy told me she would get me some dry clothes. As soon as I stood up Mom knew what the problem was. I got really upset and started crying whenever Mom told me that I had diarrhea. So....the rest of my day consisted on me running back and forth to the bathroom. Everytime I sat down on the toilet I would say, "this is just no fun, no fun at all". Mommy agreed that it sure didn't look like much fun. I didn't eat anything the rest of the night and I went to bed a little early. Tomorrow I will just be taking it easy too, I'm sure.

I'm Feeling Fine...thankfully!

I never got sick anymore, so maybe it was just a one time episode (at least we are hoping so!). Since I hadn't been sick anymore I went ahead and went to school. I still didn't eat much today, but Mom fixed some Chicken and Noodles for dinner and I ate some of those. Chicken and Noodles is one of my favorite dinners, so usually I'll have seconds after I clean my first plate. Tonight I didn't clean my plate, but Dad and Mom said it was fine.

I've Got the Flu... YUCK!!

Lets see....where to begin. I hadn't been acting right all day, but when Mom kept asking me if I felt okay, I told her I felt fine. I went to school like normal, then at 1:00 we went to the library for storytime, then we came home... I really didn't eat any breakfast or lunch and I didn't snack at all today. Mom thought maybe I had a little bug and just didn't want to eat. Thankfully Mom didn't force the issue! Daddy got home from work about 5:00, so at about 5:10 I threw up all over the living room floor. Mommy was rocking me and all of a sudden I got a look on my face and Mom knew what was coming.

I only threw up one time, so that was good. I was supposed to be going to Mamaw and Papaw's tonight (while Mom, Dad, and Bryce went to Small Group), but I didn't get to. I was upset that I didn't get to go, but Mom said maybe another day this week.

Let it Snow!

When I got up this morning it was snowing. It must have been snowing for while, because it was already white outside. I really wanted to go out and play in the snow, but I didn't get to. When we got up it was only 9 degrees. Okay, so it was a little cold. I pleaded that I would wear 2 shirts and 2 pairs of socks, but Mom and Dad wouldn't budge on letting me go out. We just stayed inside today where it was nice and warm by the fire. We played some games and I had fun, eventhough there was no snow playing.

Dad and Mom were dragging me all over Evansville shopping last night. Fun, Fun, Fun... We were after me some new tennis shoes. Finally we were able to find me a pair that we liked okay. We tried on several but they just didn't feel right or fit right. While we were shopping I got to buy a new stuffed Puppy. It actually came with a Mommy and Baby puppy, so I was excited. Of course I was more excited about the little dog, because I always prefer the little animals over the bigger ones.

We Went to St. Louis

Here I am by the arch. We stopped by it so I could see it. It was way too cold to stay out by it too long though. Mom and I ran up the steps and then ran back down.

We just got back from a weekend in St. Louis. My favorite thing we did was going swimming 3 times. I love to swim!!! Mom and Dad thought it was cold swimming, but I didn't care one little bit.

We visited the St. Louis Science Center, went shopping, and swam. I had fun. You can read all about what we did in our Family Journal (it details each day individually).
