A Haircut...

I had a haircut appointment today. I have been looking forward to getting my hair cut. Dad and Mom kept telling me that we were just going to get it all cut off, but I knew better than that. We did get about 4 inches cut off though. It looks a lot better!!

It time for a Birthday Party..

I got to go to Grace's Birthday party this evening. She had a Tinkerbell party and the best part was that I got to dress like a Princess for the party. I of course wore my Sleeping Beauty dress. I had fun and Grace let me play with her new toys with her.

I have a cold..

I've had the sniffles for the past couple of days, but this afternoon my cold really kicked in. I've been coughing a lot now too, which Mommy doesn't like. She says I can sneeze and blow my nose all I want, but when the coughing starts she has to do something. The something she is talking about is giving me some yucky tasting medicine. Before dinner she decided to give me some cherry flavored cough medicine. I went for it, because I didn't know any better. Mom poured my medicine and got me a glass of water for afterwards. Well, I drank the medicine and grabbed my glass of water and spit my medicine into my glass of water. Mom wasn't pleased, but what could she do. I got some of the medicine down and it did quiet the cough some.

We went to church and I had fun playing in my class with Bryce. Brycie gets to come with me into my class on Wednesday nights. We got home from church and Mom decided that she wanted me to take some more of that cough medicine before bed. I threw a big fit and cried because I didn't want anymore yucky tasting medicine. Finally Mom talked me into holding my nose and taking it. It really didn't taste too bad, since I was holding my nose. I drank all my medicine, swallowed all the medicine, then got a drink of my water. Hopefully my cough will be gone tomorrow, but we will have to wait and see.

What a Storm

Well...it is still raining around here. It just rains off and on though now.

Early this morning a storm blew in. I guess that it was about 3:30. The lightning was real bright and the thunder was REALLY loud. So, I called for Mommy to come into my room. Well, she wasn't fast enough, so I started yelling, "I'm scared!". Daddy was on his way into my room, but I didn't know it at that point. Finally Daddy got me and picked me up and then I was fine. I did get to sleep the rest of the night in Mommy and Daddy's bed though. It was only about 3 hours though, because then I was ready to get up.

We had a wedding to go to at church this afternoon. We went and afterwards I got to eat cake. So, I of course ate white cake (my favorite).

After the wedding we went home and Daddy was cooking dinner for Mommy's birthday. We got home at about 4:45, so that meant we ate dinner late. That was okay though. I helped Daddy wrap Mommy's presents and then we gave them to her after dinner. She really liked everything.

After present opening it was already past my bedtime, so I got ready for bed and had a snack and went to bed. Goodnight!!

I Don't Want to go Home!!

Mom came to get me from Mamaw and Papaw's about noon today. Whenever Mommy walked in the backdoor I started crying and was saying, "NO....I don't want to go home. I want to spend the night here again tonight". Well, that wasn't going to happen, but Mom did let me stay and play for another hour. Finally we had to go home. I didn't throw too big of a fit, but I wasn't extremely thrilled either. I know I'll get to spend the night again soon though.

I had fun playing at Papaw and Mamaw's. I got to play cars with Papaw, Games with Mamaw, and then Friday morning Grace came over to play with me. Grace and I got out lots and lots of toys, so the whole house was a big mess. I had to help Mom pick all the toys up before we left though.

To Mamaw and Papaw's I Go...Finally!

I finally got to go spend the night at Mamaw and Papaw's house tonight. I was supposed to spend the night last Thursday, but that was when I was sick again. So...I tried really hard not to be sick at all today and I ended up being fine. Mom got a little worried this afternoon that I was coming down with something again. At about 2:00 I went to sleep. Finally I woke up at about 4:00 or so. I was just a tired little girl. I've been really tired since I had the flu, but I think I am about over it all. The past couple of days I have been eating a lot better, so I should start feeling a lot better soon.

So, I went to Mamaw and Papaw's house after Daddy got home from work. Mom took me over to their house at about 5:30. I was so excited to finally be spending the night again, it had been a while.

Picture Day

I got to go to Penney's today and have my picture taken. Bryce was supposed to have his taken also, but he wouldn't sit with me. So..I got to do it all by myself. Maybe I'll have one taken with Brycie on another day. I did do really good for my pictures though, so Mommy was pleased with me!
