My First T-Ball Game

I had my very first T-Ball game today. It went pretty good. I hit the ball off of the T-Ball stand 2 times and I got to run around all the bases, so that was good. I had fun! We only play 2 innings, so it only takes about 40 minutes, so we weren't there too long.

Camping must end today

Well...we have to head home today, but at least when we got up this morning it wasn't raining anymore. So...we ate breakfast and rode our bikes down to the lake. We didn't stay long, because we needed to head back up to camp and start packing up. So....we packed most stuff up and then we went for another bike ride. Dad and Mom promised me we would go to the playground before we went home, so we rode our bikes there. We went to the playground that is not the main one (one back by a little picnic area that isn't usually too busy). We played for a long time, but Mom and Dad said that we really needed to be going, so I didn't really argue. We got back to camp and made sure everything was packed and then we headed home.

We had a wonderful first camping trip of the year. It was definetly MUDDY, but that was okay. The weather was really beautiful, so that was what matters the most.

Still Camping

We got up bright and early, because that is just what I do. We got dressed and started some breakfast. We ate breakfast and then it was time for a bike ride. We all rode our bikes this time, except Bryce (he rode in the bike trailer behind Daddy's bike). We rode around for a while and then played around the campsite. After all that we had to eat lunch and get ready to go back to Boonville for my T-Ball Pictures.

We made it to pictures on time and that took a little longer than we had hoped, but that's okay. I smiled and we left. I was supposed to have practice afterwards, but I said that I would rather go back to camp instead, so that is what we did. We got back to camp and of course I was ready for another bike ride. So...we went riding again. We went for a much longer ride this time and I was tired by the time we got back. When we got back to camp I got a snack and Mom and Dad were getting dinner started. After dinner we went for another bike ride, over to the ampitheather. I rode in the bike trailer with Bryce this time though, so I didn't have to do any work.

When we got back to camp it was just about bedtime, so I was ready to get my jammies on and get into my warm bed. I had a busy, but fun day... About the time I climbed into bed it started raining. We were hoping it at least wouldn't be raining in the morning.

Heading to the woods

Finally the weather has cooperated, at least we are hoping. The camper is loaded and as soon as dad gets home from work we are headed to Lincoln Park. We would have liked to of gone to Patoka Lake, but I have T-Ball pictures tomorrow, so Patoka was too far this time.

Well, I got up ready to leave for the woods, but Mom kept telling me that Daddy wouldn't be home until at least 4;30. After she said that I just kept asking, "is it 4;30 yet?". Finally Daddy got home just about 4:30 and then we were off to the woods. Of course it had to rain this afternoon, but the sun was almost out by the time we left, so we didn't care. Rain or no Rain we were heading to the woods.

We got there and went to our favorite site #127. Well, the grass hadn't been mowed on that site, so it was not in real good camping shape, so we decided to look around. We finally decided on site #103. This site was kind of out in the open, but on one else was camping nearby, so we went for it.

We got the camper backed in and then unloaded a little stuff. Then it was time for me to go for a bike ride. Bryce and I rode our bikes down to the lake (Mom and Dad just walked). We stopped to throw rocks for a while, then we had to go back to camp, so Mom could get the inside of the camper set up and Daddy could get a fire going.

What we soon discovered about our campsite was that it was pretty much afterall. We thought we had found a not too muddy spot, but we were wrong. I was really muddy by the time I went to bed, but the mud didn't slow me down.

I was tired, so I headed to bed about 8:30.

Goodnight!

Ball Practice, again...

We attempted again today to have T-Ball practice. Today was a nice sunny day. However, yesterday the temperature was much nicer. When we went to practice yesterday I had on shorts and a t-shirt. Today when I went to practice I had on pants and a sweatshirt (and I probably needed a jacket, but I refused to wear it saying I was warm enough). I had a nice practice though. I did really good catching the ball and also hitting the ball off of the tee. I had a lot of fun and I can't wait until I get to go again. We have practice again next Friday, so hopefully I'll keep learning lots, so I can do good when we have a game.

My First T-Ball practice

I had my first T-Ball practice this evening. Of course on the first day it had to be a little stormy. We got all started and I threw the ball a couple of times and then the coach decided we should cancel practice. The sky was dark, but it didn't rain for a while (we could have practiced for a while). It did rain and hail later on though, so better safe than sorry I guess.

Kindergarten here I come...

Today was the big day of Kindergarten Roundup. Mom was sad that her little girl (that's me) is growing up on her and going to Kindergarten. She has a few more months until the day really comes, but still.... So, I got all signed up for Kindergarten. I have to go back in a few weeks and take a test. Yes, they start testing before school even starts these days. This test is just to see how ready I am for Kindergarten and to see if there is anything that Mom and Dad need to help me with this summer. We will see I guess. Mom is afraid that I won't talk to the teacher when I get there, since I am kind of shy around people that I don't know. Mom is hoping for the best though.

Raining AGAIN..

Well...the rain moved in again this evening. There was a little bit of a storm, but nothing too major. Mom kept looking out the window to see what it was doing. It did get real windy for a few minutes and there was a lot of lightening, but that was about it. It rained some, but not that much. The best part of the storm was there was a policeman out in front of our house. Our neighbor's tree fell on their roof forever ago (like over a year ago). So...they never cut it down and tonight it finally blew off of their roof and onto their porch roof. When it blew down it pulled down some electric lines. The lines where down across the road, so a police car had to sit in the road to stop traffic. And when there is a policeman nearby that means that I can get a police trading card. I was already dressed for bed, but Mommy was going to carry me outside to ask anyway. Well....about that time Daddy got home from Youth Group at church and he carried me out there. I was too scared to ask for a card, but Daddy asked me for and I now have a new Trading Card. It's pretty exciting!
